The Wayne County Retired Teachers’ Association is excited to offer a $500 scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year. This scholarship is aimed at encouraging young individuals in our county who are pursuing careers in education. It is available to graduates of Wayne County high schools who have declared a major in education and completed at least 80 semester hours toward that degree at an accredited college or university.
 
Qualifications for the scholarship and application information can be found on the attached application form. Applications are due by June 15, 2025, and may be mailed or submitted electronically. Recipients will be invited to the August meeting of the organization for the scholarship award presentation.
