Courtesy photo The Wells Lioness Club recently donated $500 to the Bay College Foundation to fund the Wells Lioness Club scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually to a Wells Township student attending Bay College. Funds are raised by assisting the Wells Lions Club with their food trailer at local events, including the U.P. State Fair and Great Lakes Logging and Heavy Equipment Expo. The Lioness Club also assists with the Lions Club mint fundraiser. The Wells Lioness Club also provides charitable donations to many other Delta County organizations.
