Westfield Lions Club

On May 3, the Westfield Lions Club awarded a club-record amount in scholarships to Westfield High School seniors. Ten students were recognized for their service work and academic achievement by the Lions at the Club’s annual Scholarship Awards Night held at the Friends Church, 324 S. Union St.
This year’s scholarship winners are:
The Westfield Lions make it a high priority to support the Westfield school system, spending countless hours and thousands of dollars each year on student-related activities, projects, and scholarships. This includes providing every third-grade student with a dictionary, conducting vision screening tests for preschool students and elementary school students, sponsoring middle school students class trips to Washington, D.C., sponsoring two WHS girls’ trips to the Hoosier Girls State Leadership Conference, significant contributions to the Westfield Education Foundation, and numerous other events and activities.
The Westfield Lions Club has been serving the citizens of Westfield since 1930. If you are interested in being a part of something special, consider joining the club. Information on membership and club meetings can be found at WestfieldLions.org.
