TAYLORVILLE — Tharyn Wiseman of Taylorville has been awarded the Colman full-tuition scholarship at Rockford University! This is a prestigious honor that is only given to a very select few students on campus every year based on high academic success in high school. The scholarship is renewal based on GPA requirements.
Tharyn, a 2025 high honors graduate from Taylorville High School, is majoring in Biology and minoring in exercise science. He will also play baseball for the Rockford Regents.
In high school, Tharyn was involved in Tommy TV, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Basketball, Baseball and Purple Reign.
After graduation, Tharyn will go on to pursue his doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Tharyn is the son of Brett & Vanessa Wiseman of Taylorville and the Grandson of Daniel and (Dawn Frost) Durbin of Taylorville, Barb & Kevin Mickey of Millersville, Gene and Bev Wiseman and Micki Potter of Rensselaer, Indiana.
