The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and its Women in Business Committee invite the community to its annual Sweethearts & Scholarships fundraiser on Wednesday, Feb. 5, hosted by HeadPinz Entertainment Center Fort Myers.
Sweethearts & Scholarships raises funds for Women in Business scholarships, which are awarded annually to non-traditional students at Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida SouthWestern State College and local technical colleges. Funds support traditional scholarships as well as gap funding for industry certifications to assist with local workforce development efforts.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with members, build lasting relationships and bid on prizes, which include desserts, wines, wine-related items and more. There will also be a prize drawing. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Women in Business scholarships.
The Event and Host sponsor for the Sweethearts & Scholarship event is HeadPinz. The Chamber is still seeking a Scholarship Sponsor for this event, which costs $250 and includes an opportunity for the sponsor to speak on their business during the event.
Sweethearts & Scholarships will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at HeadPinz Fort Myers, located at 14513 Global Parkway in Fort Myers. Admission is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for future members and includes one complimentary drink and light appetizers.
