At a spring general meeting of the Honesdale Women’s Club, three high school seniors and their parents were presented with $1,000 scholarships for their upcoming college terms. Each year the club presents these scholarships to outstanding Honesdale students from profits made during the annual antique show held every July. The students, from left, are Jordan Fay Patzuk, planning to pursue a degree in psychology at Boston College; Lily Ann Taraschuk, planning to pursue a degree in nursing at the University of Scranton; and Grace Ann Romacher, who plans to pursue a degree in early childhood education at Misericordia University.
