The Wyoming Women’s Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2025 Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more.
With the help of generous sponsors, the Wyoming Women’s Foundation is able to offer scholarships for women and girls interested in participating in the Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt. The hunt was founded in 2013 by the Wyoming Women’s Foundation as an opportunity for mentoring and developing camaraderie between women. The Ranch at Ucross hosts the event. This year’s hunt is scheduled for October 9-12. Hunters of all skill levels are welcome to participate, including first-time hunters and out-of-state residents. Multiple scholarships are being offered this year, including one dedicated to US Military Veterans, one for a single mom from Wyoming, and several general scholarships.
The deadline to apply for a scholarship is March 20. Submission includes a 300-word essay on why you would like to participate in the event and what you hope to gain from the experience. Those selected to receive a scholarship to the hunt will be notified starting in May. Application information along with more information on the hunt can be accessed here.
