The Yavapai County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse (YCMSP) is still looking for deserving high school seniors who live in Yavapai county for another round of $1,000 college scholarships to be handed out this spring. THE DEADLINE TO APPLY HAS BEEN EXTENDED ONE WEEK!
YCMSP has two types of college grants available: the Ralph Hooker Memorial Scholarship awarded only to students attending Yavapai College, and the YCMSP Scholarship which can be used at any college. The Posse has handed out more than $650,000 in scholarships since 1958.
To receive an application or if you have questions, please contact Chris Hill at (602) 320-3430 or ask your local high school personnel. The applications are somewhat detailed, so please start the process today! Applications are due by Sat. April 12, 2025.
