The students were recognized at the Harrison City Council meeting on April 2.

(Harrison, Oh.) – Ten students were awarded $1,000 scholarships earlier this month.
The scholarships were awarded by Yeager Benson American Legion Post 199 in Harrison to the following students.
Cameron Blasek (East Central), Morgan Gardner (Harrison), Logan Caldwell (Harrison, Homeschooled), Audre Buesing (Harrison), Raegan Briggs (Homeschooled), Chloe Dearwester (Harrison), Anthony Sedam (Harrison), Nicholas Sedam (Harrison), Jackson Wilson (Diamond Oaks), and Jack Ward (Harrison).
Councilwoman Jean Wilson presented the scholarships at the April 2 City Council meeting.
The officers responded to an unconscious person on March 18.
Crews were on the scene for several hours on Wednesday.
The committee is made up of 18 members.
