Students from 15 different schools across York County received $31,000 in scholarships as part of this year’s York County Musical Theatre Showcase.
Every year, high school theater students show off their talents one more time at the Pullo Performing Arts Center at Penn State York during Encore.
This year’s musicals ranged from Central York and West York Area performing “The Addams Family” to classics such as Spring Grove Area’s “The Music Man” and Susquehannock High School’s “Bye Bye Birdie.” The showcase wrapped up Sunday with one final encore.
The students are then recognized for their talent and work with scholarships.
