YAKIMA, Wash. — The Yakima Valley College foundation is getting ready to share out $700,000 worth of scholarships to it's students.
These will be awarded during a reception on Thursday.
Over 175 students will be receiving a scholarship, with the average amount set at 4 thousand dollars.
The YVC foundation were able to acquire the funds from 150 donors, and have given away 8 million dollars since their inception in 1977.
