UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center has announced the following graduating seniors as recipients of the 2024 UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center Medical Staff Scholarship. Each student will receive $2,500.
Skyler “Sky” Coleman is graduating from Moffat County High School with a GPA of 4.17. Coleman plans to attend Colorado Mesa University, major in radiologic sciences, and pursue a career in ultrasound technology.
Kestyn Ellis is graduating from Steamboat Springs High School with a GPA of 4.08. Ellis plans to attend the University of Hawaii, major in nursing, and purse a career as a trauma nurse.
Kiri May is graduating from Steamboat Springs High School with a GPA of 4.14. May plans to attend Williams College, major in biology with an emphasis in neuroscience, and pursue a career in physical therapy, pharmacy or medical school. 
Ruby Short is graduating from Moffat County High School with a GPA of 4.245. Short plans to attend Washington University in St. Louis, major in biology with a pre-med track, and pursue a career in orthopedic surgery.
To qualify, the graduating seniors must pursue an education in health care and live in Routt or Moffat County.
