Zelensky appoints state scholarships for 164 cultural figures – Букви
As noted in the official decree of the President of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has decided to award state scholarships to 164 prominent figures in culture and the arts. Decree No. 807/2025 has been published on the official website of the President.
According to the document, 30 artists will receive lifelong stipends, while 134 culture and arts figures will receive two-year stipends.
This initiative highlights the importance of the cultural sector for the development of society and supporting talented people in creative work.
The awarding of stipends enables selected artists to steadily pursue their projects, develop their creative work, and launch new initiatives in the culture and arts sector.
Thirty culture figures will receive lifelong stipends, providing long-term financial support, while 134 will receive two-year stipends, enabling mid-term project planning.
The decision’s content demonstrates the state’s systematic approach to supporting culture and the arts, with an emphasis on developing creative potential and expanding cultural initiatives in the regions.
