Amcor, a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, is pleased to announce the establishment of the Amcor Technical School Scholarship Program.
Grants will be given to high school seniors or graduates seeking full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year college or vocational technical school.
“We believe in investing in the manufacturing workforce of the future, and so we’re excited to help students get the training they need for a successful and satisfying career,” said Ethan Haas, chair of the Amcor Cares Board of Trustees. “Amcor considers it a responsibility and an honor to help students truly unpack their potential in the years ahead.”
Interested students can apply for a scholarship at https://learnmore.scholarsapply.org/amcortech. Twenty $2,500 grants will be given each academic year.
Applicant eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Be a high school senior or high school graduate.
  • Reside in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma ,California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota,  New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year college or vocational technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Be pursuing a certificate* or associate degree in an industrial-skilled trade (for example, Mechanics, Electronics, or Automation).
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent.
