Calling all high school seniors! If you’re dreaming of a higher education and in need of financial help, you’re invited to apply for The Community Foundation of South Lake scholarships.
Thanks to revenue generated at Clermont’s annual Pig on the Pond event, the foundation is offering scholarships valued at up to $10,000 ($2,500 per year for up to 4 years) to support South Lake County students on their educational journey.
The scholarships can be used at any accredited vocational-technical school, community college, 4-year college, or university.
Recipients are determined by the Project Scholars Board of Directors and Scholarship Committee and must reside in the South Lake Hospital tax district for at least one year, regardless of where they attend high school.
Students must also have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate a financial need.
To apply, visit the scholarship application portal, log in or create a new account and complete the application for each scholarship you’re interested in.
