The Leadership Academy offers a three-week experiential curriculum focusing on idea generation, design thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, innovation, sustainability, business models, and leadership development. The program aims to enhance self-confidence, communication skills, and leadership abilities, while fostering meaningful relationships between Baltic peers.
Lectures and workshops are conducted on a college campus in Maine, USA. Beyond the formal curriculum, students will experience American culture through various activities, including beach outings on the Atlantic Ocean, mountain hikes, and tours of Portland Harbor and the Casco Bay islands. The program will culminate with visits to New York City and Washington, D.C.
The scholarship covers round-trip international airfare, dormitory accommodation, meals, domestic travel within the United States, and travel health insurance provided by CIEE. Additionally, participants will receive an online pre-departure orientation course and in-person orientation upon arrival.
BAFF’s declared mission is to strengthen ties between Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the United States by investing in the development of young Baltic leaders and entrepreneurs.
Interested students are encouraged to apply through the BAFF website.
