Fourteen area high school seniors were honored recently as "Students of Integrity" by the Better Business Bureau Serving Western Virginia.
The 21st Annual Student of Integrity Scholarship Awards Dinner was held in Roanoke on April 25. Its purpose is to recognize students for demonstrating ethics through leadership, community service and overall personal integrity.
Each of the students received a $1,500 scholarship at the event. The BBB has awarded more than $256,000 in scholarships to 270 students throughout Western Virginia since the program was established in 2003.
Below is a list of the seniors who were recognized in 2024:

A total of 150 public and private high schools, as well as home schools, within the BBB's 32-county service area, are invited to submit entries each year. The BBB said the awards program recognizes students who share a common truth that "everything that they say and do represents a choice, and their decisions help to determine the shape of their lives."
