The Tehama County Cattlewomen (TCCW) are pleased to announce that they offer three scholarships for 2025.
One scholarship is for a student who is majoring in an agricultural field, and the second is for a student who is not majoring in an agricultural field but comes from a Tehama County family who is involved in an agricultural business, while the third scholarship is for a student pursuing appropriate certification in a field related to, and supportive of agriculture, including, but is not limited to: 1) Heavy Equipment Operations; 2) Electronics; 3) Welding; 4) Diesel/ Farm Machinery Repair.
TCCW offers these scholarships to support students and their families who are engaged in the agricultural industry in general, and specifically the cattle industry.
The members of the TCCW Scholarship Committee select the scholarship winners based on the quality of an interview with the student and the student’s autobiography, understanding and potential contribution to agriculture, understanding of the cattle industry and grade point average. Past scholarship winners are encouraged to apply again as long as they are eligible.
Scholarship applications, additional requirements and restrictions, and a full description of the application process are available on the Tehama County CattleWomen’s webpage: tehamacountycattlewomen.org. Applications are due by May 1, 2025.
