ConVal High School sophomores Evan Kelley and Adeline Regis have been awarded all-expenses-paid scholarships through the Goethe Institut for an immersive study program in Karlsruhe, Germany. 
Kelley and Regis are enrolled in German 3, the highest German language class in ConVal High School. Students also had to fill out an application and create a video introducing themselves to be selected.   During the three-week-long immersion program, students will be staying with host families in Germany and will participate in German language classes and cultural activities.  
This opportunity is made possible through the PASCH program, which partners with schools and the Goethe Institut to provide experiences and scholarships for students who study German. ConVal is one of only 14 schools in the United States directly supported by the Goethe Institut. 
“I am extremely proud of our students who were awarded these scholarships and now have an opportunity to travel to Germany for this incredible immersion program,” Principal Heather McKillop stated. “I would like to thank the Goethe Institut and the PASCH program for their partnership. I am excited for our students to travel the world, experience new cultures, and make lasting memories through learning.
