BLOOMINGTON — Students in need of financial assistance to enroll in tuition-based college courses at Heartland Community College have a little more than a week to apply for aid through Country Financial.
The Country Financial High School Scholarship program is open to eligible high school sophomores and juniors from Bloomington, Heyworth, Lexington, Normal Community, Normal West, Olympia, Ridgeview, Tri-Valley and University high schools.
In addition to monetary support, the scholarship program offers mentorship from Country Financial employees as well as professional development and engagement opportunities.
The scholarship would cover tuition, fees, a laptop and textbooks. The deadline to apply this year is Feb. 1.
