BREAKING NEWS
WEATHER ALERT
Eighteen students from Broken Bow Public Schools were awarded scholarships through the Don Davis Early Entry Access Scholarship and the Broken Bow Class of 1959 Educational Fund, both administered by the Custer County Foundation. Broken Bow students currently enrolled in the Early Entry Access Program at Mid-Plains Community College (Broken Bow campus) are eligible to apply for the scholarships.
Students that are enrolled for three credit hours received a scholarship that will pay for their dual credit classes. Thirteen students were awarded one of each the Don Davis Early Access Scholarship and the Broken Bow Class of 1959 Educational Fund by being enrolled with six or more credit hours.
Students that receive the ACE scholarship were not eligible for the Davis or Class of 1959 scholarship because the ACE scholarship already pays for their tuition. To qualify for the ACE scholarship, the student or their family must be approved to participate in a qualifying federal need-based government program, have experienced an extreme hardship that affects income, or be participating in a designated Career Education program.
