Angela Alvord
Angela Alvord, a paraprofessional in USD 260’s interrelated programs since 2021, was recently presented with a $2,500 Special Education Paraprofessional Pathway scholarship from Derby Public Schools. The scholarship is presented annually to paras in USD 260 pursuing their full-time teaching degrees through state-approved pathways.
Currently a student in the Teacher Apprentice Program at Wichita State University, Alvord plans to graduate with her teaching degree in fall 2026.
