NEWBURYPORT — The Exchange Club of Greater Newburyport awarded $1,000 scholarships on Tuesday to three local graduating seniors at its dinner meeting at the Starboard Galley.
Receiving the Maria Iacono Memorial Scholarship was Brendan Grossman of Newburyport High, who will be attending Providence College this fall to major in finance. He previously received the New England District Exchange Club’s $4,000 scholarship at its annual convention at the Attitash Mountain Resort in New Hampshire in May and will now be competing for a $15,000 scholarship awarded at Exchange’s national convention in Louisville in July.
