The Ingleside Garden Club presented three scholarships at the Ingleside High School’s Awards Ceremony. Leah Barringer, Alejandro Granado and Ramsey Torres each received a $1,000 scholarship.
Barringer, 6th in the class, is set to attend Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, majoring in psychology.
Granados, 10th in the class, will continue his education at Texas A & M in Corpus Christi, majoring in finance and engineering.
Torres, 4th in the class, will attend the University of Texas, in Austin, majoring in mechanical engineering.
This year the Ingleside Garden Club gave out the most money and the most scholarships in club history. There were more applicants than ever before. IGC has been active in the community and has had successful fundraisers.
