The St. Johns County Education Foundation, under the auspices of Investing in Kids, is offering public school seniors merit and needs-based scholarships.
Applications are open through March 25 on INK!’s online portal at apply.ink-stjohns.org.
Cathy Newman, INK’s executive director, said that the scholarships allow students to further their education while alleviating some of the financial burden.
“We take great pride in stewarding these scholarship opportunities,” she said in a news release. “These awards come from a place of deep love and respect, honoring loved ones who left an indelible mark on the community.”
Newman is encouraging those in need to take advantage of the awards.
INK! oversees 20 scholarships totaling more than $40,000 for post-secondary education, including college, vocational and technical education. Merit and needs-based awards range between $1,000 and $6,000.
