WEST PARIS — The scholarship was started in 2022 to honor the life and legacy of Kathryn F. Daniels, from West Paris, who was a beloved 4H leader for over 40 years. It is now a registered 501c3 non-profit, operated by Kathryn’s family, who miss her dearly every day.
Each year the scholarship sends 2 children (one resident from West Paris and one resident from the rest of MSAD 17 district) to a week-long camping experience at the University of Maine 4H Camp in Bryant Pond.
The scholarship holds several fun events each year to raise money, so please visit the scholarship Facebook page for more information. The family would like to thank the communities in the MSAD 17 district and beyond for their continued generosity that keeps this scholarship and the memory of Kay alive and well.
