In the spring semester seniors likely know what campus they’ll live in. However, they may not know where all of the funds will come from to pay for education after high school. At the beginning of February, The Keweenaw Community Foundation will open access to its spring education scholarships. The Keweenaw Community Foundation will distribute over 30,000 dollars through 14 scholarship programs. Some scholarships are available to graduating seniors from specific districts, who are involved in community organizations, or students seeking to enter the trades. The Keweenaw Community Foundation spring scholarship applications will open on February 1st. The foundation will accept applications until March 16th. The foundation plans to announce scholarship awards sometime around May.
