The Live Oak County Farm Bureau is offering three scholarships to local students for a total of $9,000. Each scholarship provides $1,500 per semester for two semesters. The application deadline of April 4 is rapidly approaching, so students are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible.
Two scholarships will be awarded to one student each from George West High School and Three Rivers High School, while another scholarship will be available for college students residing in Live Oak County. Recipients of the scholarship must be Farm Bureau members.
Applications are available at the school counselor’s office, or the Live Oak County Farm Bureau office, located at 3460 Hwy. 281 in George West. Call 361-449-1151 for more information.
