MADISON, Wis. — Mercyhealth has multiple scholarships for aspiring health-care related students and its deadline is approaching.
A total of seven community-based $2,000 scholarships are available until Feb. 7. This scholarship is designated to graduating seniors and college students that are enrolled in this hospital's service areas. Five out of the seven will be given to general health care majors while the remaining two will be used for nursing majors.
The Minority/Veteran scholarships are two $2,000 scholarships given to people who identify as a minority or a veteran who are pursing a health care career in the hospital's area.
A more specific scholarship that is similar to the one above is the Ethnic Minority Nursing scholarship (three of them that are of $2,000), given a fluent Spanish speaker majoring in nursing.
