CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A bar in Centre County is hosting a dart tournament this weekend in memory of its owner and his son.
The second "Musser Memorial Dart Tournament" starts Saturday morning, at 8 a.m., at the Frosty Hook in Spring Mills.
The event is in memory of Bob and Bobby Musser and is raising money for scholarships for senior Penns Valley Area high school baseball and volleyball players.
Proceeds also go towards youth programs in the area.
"Since they were big into Penns Valley athletics, we ultimately figured everybody on the team mostly connected over baseball with my pap. And the biggest thing we did with little Bobby, he always saw us at volleyball games and basketball games, but volleyball was his favorite,” said relative Bradley Musser.
For the tournament, there will be three-person teams, and the cost is $45 per team.
A cash payout will be given to the top three teams.
A food buffet and Chinese auction will also take place during the tournament.
