The University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus is excited to announce the launch of new Entrance Scholarship Program to recognize the academic achievement of incoming students and help attract future leaders to the Associate Diplomas in Agriculture, Environmental Management, and Horticulture.
These new scholarships, which will be awarded for the first time in fall 2021, enhance the campus’ Student Awards Program, which distributes close to $200,000 annually to deserving students.
Recipients of these new scholarships will be selected based on their admission average. All eligible applicants and new students to the three diploma programs will be considered for these $1,500 awards. “I’m excited about the impact these new scholarships will have on helping students meet their academic and career goals,” says Brett Shepherd, Director, Ridgetown Campus.
In addition to start-up funds from the Ontario Agricultural College (OAC), and Ridgetown Campus, there has been excellent community support for these scholarships.
Future students who want to learn more about the Ridgetown student experience can visit the Ridgetown Campus website at ridgetownc.com to explore academic programs, student life opportunities, and to connect with helpful staff.
