Northshore Technical Community College rolled out the red carpet on March 28 to honor to their scholarship recipients, the students’ families and the donors who help fund many of the scholarships awarded to those students studying on the NTCC campuses in St. Tammany and Washington parishes. It was the ninth annual Chancellor’s Scholarship Breakfast celebration — this one at Benedict’s in Mandeville — to spotlight scholarship progress on the two campuses.
Northshore Technical provides workforce training and transfer opportunities via a variety of of options. The Lacombe-based school offers a range of options, from degree programs and professional certifications and technical diplomas to short-term workforce training or a high school equivalency diploma. “These remarkable individuals have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, leadership qualities, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities,” the college said. A separate event is planned to honor students and donors on other NTCC campuses in nearby parishes.
