Ten Sandwich graduates have been selected to receive scholarships from the Cape Cod Foundation and the Cape Cod Association.
The 10 graduates join a group of 500 students across Cape Cod who were selected to receive scholarships, adding up to over $1.5 million, to support their post-secondary education goals.
Competition was fierce. The foundation said it took a group of volunteers more than 1,300 hours to review and select applicants—work they were happy to do to support the region’s students and their education.
“The need for additional scholarship support in our community is great—especially multiyear support to ensure students have the resources to complete their education,” Kristin O’Malley, Cape Cod Foundation president and CEO, said in a press release.
