SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE — The Bethel Rural Community Organization’s educational outreach offers a $1,000 higher education scholarship to a Bethel community graduating high school senior. Applications must be postmarked by March 24.
The Bethel Rural Community Organization is once again offering a $1,000 scholarship for graduating high school seniors in the Bethel area.
The applicant must have been a resident of Bethel community for the past two years. For the scholarship, Bethel community is defined as the area of the Bethel School District.
The applicant must be graduating from a certified Haywood County high school and have been accepted for college admission to an accredited college, university, community college or approved technical school.
Deadline to apply is March 24. Applications may be requested by emailing haywoodbrco@gmail.com.
The applicant who is selected as recipient of the BRCO scholarship will be notified of their selection by May 2. BRCO will transfer the $1,000 payment for the scholarship directly to the selected educational institution.
