CLARION — Seneca Rocks Audubon has announced a new deadline for applying for one scholarship for the weeklong nature program, “Sharing Nature: An Educator’s Week,” August 10-15 at Hog Island, Bremen, Maine.
The new deadline to apply is February 22, 2025. The scholarship winner will be notified March 1.
The scholarship is open to teachers or adult community leaders who promote an appreciation of nature in Clarion County, Forest County, or in the Brookville area.
Seneca Rocks Audubon will pay 100-percent of the cost of the course, room, and board. The selected recipient is responsible for travel expenses. 
The Hog Island Scholarship application is available on the chapter’s website, senecarocksaudubon.org under “Projects.”  It can also be requested by emailing senecarocksaudubon@gmail.com.
