LAWRENCE CO. – Lawrence County Sheriff Greg Day has announced that the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association (ISA) will again offer college scholarships to qualified high school seniors and college students pursuing degrees in criminal justice studies. The ISA will award approximately forty scholarships, each valued at $750, to eligible students across Indiana.
The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund was established to support students committed to education and careers in law enforcement. The fund is dedicated to providing financial assistance to individuals passionate about making a difference in the criminal justice field.
Eligibility Requirements: To apply for one of these scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Application Process: Interested applicants can obtain the scholarship application from their high school counselor or the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, the application is available as a fillable PDF form on the ISA website: https://indianasheriffs.org/programs/scholarship-program/.
For those not yet members of the ISA, membership is available for just $24.00 through the ISA website at Indianasheriffs.org.
Deadline for Submissions: All scholarship applications must be completed and submitted to the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association by April 1, 2025.
