BISMARCK — Teagan Erbele of Lehr, North Dakota, is among 15 students awarded a $1,000 scholarship through the North Dakota Farm Bureau Foundation, announced the NDFB Promotion and Education Committee.
Erbele was one of five students awarded the Becki Palmer Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to high school seniors and honors an NDFB employee who lost her battle with cancer in 2006
The money used for the scholarships is raised through a live auction at the NDFB Annual Meeting, held in November. Auction items are donated by county Farm Bureaus and volunteers.
