New students accepted at Augustana University are eligible to apply for a music, theater or art scholarship. Students can have any academic major and still receive talent scholarships in these areas.
Arts scholarships are annual allocations and automatically renewable. Criteria for maintaining a scholarship varies by department and generally requires participation in departmental ensembles, performances or activities. Students must maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Criteria and scholarship amounts are subject to change. When completing your application to AU, students may also submit your credentials for the Music, Pro Artis and Pro Damatis scholarships.
Scholarship applications are open for all prospective students interested in participating in music, visual arts or theatre at Augustana University.
The Pro Artis Scholarship ($1,000 to $2,000) is awarded to students who demonstrate visual art talent based on a portfolio submission. View scholarship requirements and application details.

The Augustana School of Music has three types of scholarships available for first-year students up to $8,000 per year. Each of these are designed to reward your musical talents and help make an Augustana education more affordable. All scholarships require participation in an ensemble and private lesson instruction.
