LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — 35 students enrolled in or beginning their education in a health-related field have received scholarships from The Conway Regional Health Foundation, totaling $74,500 in all.
The foundation gives out scholarships every year, with them introducing two new scholarships, the Standridge Family Tribute Tree Scholarship and the Dot Welch Endowed Scholarship.
This year's scholarship class included eleven current Conway Regional System employees and six children of Conway Regional employees.
“These scholarships not only alleviate the financial burdens of student debt but also provide essential support to our employees, their families, and students. Conway Regional supports the scholarships recipients as they will lead and serve our community one day,” said Matt Troup, President and CEO of Conway Regional Health System.
"The Foundation is dedicated to supporting our health system and community, both now and in the future, through investments in scholarships for students across various healthcare fields, including medicine, dentistry, and nursing," said Maegan Dyson, Chief Development Officer of Conway Regional Health System.
