Two Rivers Utilities is looking to help further the educational efforts of area students.
Two Rivers Utilities has announced that they will be offering two scholarships worth $500, and applications are now open.
The Energy Industry Scholarship will be awarded to a student who will be attending a tech school, college, or university that offers courses related to the energy industry, such as electrical engineering, renewable energy, and others.
The General Education Scholarship will go to any student who plans on attending any form of college in the fall 2025 semester.
To be eligible for either scholarship, a student must be a high school senior graduating this year, and their parents or legal guardian must be a Two Rivers Utilities customer.
Winning applications will be chosen by a third-party evaluator, and those applications must be submitted no later than April 4th.
Scholarship winners will be announced in May at the school awards presentation.
