Glasgow’s University of Strathclyde has introduced scholarships for international students enroling in postgraduate teaching and research programmes under its Faculty of Engineering for the academic year 2024-25.
The initiative aims to support self-funded, non-EU international students with strong academic credentials who wish to pursue advanced studies in engineering disciplines.
The scholarships are open to self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying students with strong academic qualifications. For postgraduate taught courses starting in January 2025, the application deadline is January 10, 2025.
Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time programme before applying for the scholarship. Postgraduate research degree applicants can apply anytime during the academic year.
Successful postgraduate-taught applicants will receive a scholarship equal to a 15% tuition fee reduction, which can amount to up to Euro 4,240, depending on the course. Research degree applicants will also get a 15% fee reduction for each year of study.
Students enrolling in two-year MSc programmes will receive the scholarship for their first year only. The scholarship amount may vary for courses with different fee structures, including architecture and biomedical engineering.
