Chapter B of the P.E.O. Sisterhood is holding its second Dancing for Scholars event from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8.
The dancing fundraiser will be held in the gym of South Aiken Presbyterian, 1711 Whisky Road. Tickets are $25 each or $40 for two and include line dancing instruction and light food and beverages. Participants will be able to learn the Electric Slide, Cuban Shuffle and more. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available for ages 12 and older.
Proceeds from the event will go to support P.E.O. educational projects that provide higher education scholarships, grants and loans to women. For more information or to purchase tickets, email lkburkes@yahoo.com. Checks, cash or Venmo payments will be accepted.
