Hawaii Island Veterans Memorial is pleased to offer $2,000 scholarships to Hawaii Island high school graduates to support pursuit of a college degree or professional certification program.
Individuals currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program also are eligible to apply. All applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and be committed to community service activities.

Individuals who are related to a veteran or belong to a veteran organization are encouraged to apply. These scholarships help pay for direct or indirect education expenses including tuition, books and supplies or room and board.

The deadline to submit applications is March 28.
Hawaii Island Veterans Memorial is a local veteran nonprofit organization established in May 1997 with the mission to provide affordable housing and a veteran’s center. Its annual October Jazz and Blues Fest helps to raise funds and provides an enjoyable experience for the community.
