A recently established $5,000 scholarship for female undergraduates at the University of Jamestown is now accepting applications, announced P.E.O. Chapter AB of Jamestown.
The Dr. Jo-Ida C. Hansen P.E.O. Scholarship will be awarded to a female student currently attending UJ, who will have completed at least 24 semester credits by Sept. 1, 2025. To apply, go to https://bit.ly/DrJCHansenScholarship . The deadline for applications is Jan. 15.

Hansen grew up in Jamestown and currently serves as a UJ trustee. Her career has been spent at the University of Minnesota as a professor and researcher in the field of psychology.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization dedicated to advancing education for women. Hansen has been a P.E.O. Chapter AB member for more than 50 years.
