CORBIN — The Corbin Rotary Club is offering scholarships for Corbin and Lynn Camp high school seniors.
The deadline to apply for an application is next Monday, April 15.
According to a Facebook post, any seniors seeking to apply for a scholarship should contact their guidance counselor, a Rotarian, or message the Rotary Club on Facebook with their email.
According to Rotarian Melissa Finley, there are no requirements for the scholarship other than submitting the form.
The form asks about academic information and extracurricular activities, with an emphasis on activities that involve charitable organizations or community service.
The funding for the scholarships is procured primarily through funds raised from the annual Dave Hudson Memorial Golf Scramble.
Finley noted that the event typically raises around $10,000, with scholarships being given out in $1,000 increments.
