(KMAland) — Multiple southwest Iowa students received scholarships from a local agriculture cooperative.
New Cooperative announced recently 14 recipients of its $2,000 agriculture-based scholarships for 2024. Among the recipients were Keegan Bailey and Austin Evans both of Creston, Ethan James from Corning, Johnathan Graeve of Denison, and Ella Peterson from Red Oak.
Scholarship recipients were selected according to their outstanding leadership potential and interest in pursuing a career in agriculture. Applicants had to be full-time students that have been accepted into an accredited two-year college or four-year university and had to be a member of NEW Cooperative of the dependent of a NEW Cooperative member.
