Cherokee Regional Medical Center recently awarded 20 scholarships to students from Cherokee Washington, Alta-Aurelia, MMCRU, Sioux Central and two Cherokee Regional employees looking to further their education. Aurora Christensen and Kennedy Tentinger received the Cherokee Regional Auxiliary Scholarship. Amber Nelson received the Cherokee Regional Foundation Employee Scholarship. Amelia Brown and Julia DeVos received the Cherokee Regional Foundation Scholarship. Emma Patterson, Nicole DeVos, Parissa Barnes and Allison Gunn received the Cherokee Regional Scholarship. Whitney Johnson received the IHERF scholarship. Paris Mendez received the John M. Comstock Scholarship. Allison Shea, Jada Timmerman and Ava Anderson received the Kenneth Hobson Memorial Scholarship. Elspeth Hogg and Paris Mendez received the Suicide Prevention Coalition Scholarship.
