The Salem High School Alumni Association held its 2024 Scholarship Award Ceremony, 143rd Annual Meeting and Alumni Open House on April 27. During the ceremony, awarded were 133 scholarships totaling $415,700 to 77 Salem High School graduating seniors and acknowledged 35 alumni receiving postsecondary scholarships. - Noah Frank was unable to attend the ceremony and received a $2500 Hickey Metal Fabrication Vocational Scholarship. He was also awarded a $2500 Emma Bauman Holmes Vocational Scholarship.

- The first-year Marion Ackerman Vocational Scholarship endowed by Marion Ackerman, SHS Class of 1956 was awarded to Cyle Burt for $2500.

- The Elizabeth “Lizzie” Lowry Memorial Compassion Scholarship was awarded to Brooke Thompson (left) and Rachel Fowler. Each received $2500, and they are in the photo with Lizzie’s father, Rob Lowry, SHS Class of 1973.
