This year, the Northshore Community Foundation received 73 applications from across the four-parish region they serve, and after a rigorous selection process, 16 students have been awarded scholarships totaling $262,800.
The foundation administers a variety of scholarships, each with specific criteria that reflect the diverse aspirations and accomplishments of our region’s students. The parameters for these scholarships include factors such as high school location, commitment to attending in-state universities, chosen field of study, and demonstration of community involvement. Each scholarship fund is financially supported by dedicated fundholders who also play a key role in selecting the recipients.
