The Voice of Indiana County

The Indiana County chapter of the NAACP has announced the recipients of the 2024 Shirley Sadler Reeder Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship is named in honor of Reeder, a multi-term president of the local NAACP branch. She was instrumental with the branch’s founding in 1976.  She died in 1995, and in that year, a scholarship that had been awarded since 1988 was renamed in her honor.
